Shipping & Returns

How soon will my order ship out after I ship it?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Eastern Time. Please note that our office is closed on the weekends and we do not process any orders on Saturday or Sunday. We are closed on all Canadian Federal holidays.

The processing time needed for each order varies dependent upon the items ordered. All jewelry orders ship within 2 business days (if not sooner). Personalized gift items vary from 2-5 business days. Please refer to the product description page to see up-to-date production times. All efforts are made to get your order shipped as soon as possible.

 

How do I know when my order has shipped?

All orders shipped from Custom Gifts by Avery are trackable with Canada Post. When your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking number. You can use this number to track your parcel directly from the Canada Post website. www.canadapost-postescanada.ca

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for your tracking information to update.

 

What if my order is later than expected?

Depending on the shipping method you selected, your order can take up to 14 days to reach you (from the time it leaves us). If your order has not arrived by its expected delivery date, please do the following:

  • Use the tracking number provided to track your package online to see its current status. 
  • If your tracking information says the package was delivered please check to see if it has been delivered without you knowing. It is possible your package has been delivered to a neighbour or your home without you knowing. Please check with any neighbors, doormen, roommates or house guests.
  • If the tracking information has not been updated or your package seems to be lost please contact us.

Please Note: Canada Post does not guarantee delivery dates when delays are caused by severe weather or when transportation networks are disrupted beyond the control of Canada Post. If your package is delayed due to these unforeseen circumstances we cannot reimburse or refund shipping fees. Visit the Canada Post Service Disruption website to see if your package could be affected.

 

What are your International shipping options?

What if I make an error when entering my shipping address?

Please take care to correctly enter your shipping address. Contact us immediately should you notice a mistake on your shipping address so that we may correct the mistake before processing your order. An incorrect address will delay your order, result in lost merchandise, and incur additional fees. Once an order has already shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address until the package is returned to us by Canada Post. You are responsible for any fees incurred to correct your shipping address.

 

What is your Return Policy?

While we certain you will love your purchase, your 100% satisfaction is our goal. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to resolve the issue and/or arrange for a return or exchange. 

Unless the return is due to a mistake on our part, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. All returned items must be in the same, new and unworn condition in which it was dispatched. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable. 

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Earrings (for hygienic reasons)
  • Personalized items
  • Items that have been worn, marked, or damaged
