The Ouroboros is an Ancient Symbol of a Serpent or Dragon biting, devouring, or eating its own tail. It is a powerful symbol of the cyclic nature of death and rebirth. In this design, both snakes are detailed with carved scales that are heavily oxidized to highlight the detailing. The detailing and weight of this pendant is impressive.
The bail opening is approximately 4mm, large enough to accommodate a different chain. This pendant is a heavier piece weighing approximately 7 grams of sterling silver. We recommend a snake chain style for this pendant due to its weight.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS Over time all silver will tarnish when exposed to moisture in the air. In order to help your jewelry stay the best looking:
Do not wear your jewelry in the shower, bath, or while swimming
Store your jewelry in a dry, airtight container when not wearing it, preferably with an anti-tarnish strip
Put your jewelry on last in order to minimize its exposure to chemicals (lotion, perfume, hairspray, etc.)
Periodically, use a soft silver polishing cloth to gently clean your silver
